About
This is the story of a dream come true. I am Eme, a journalist by vocation and heart, specialized in Digital Marketing and Fashion History and with a project floating around in my head for almost 20 years. Today, a long time later, I can say that this project has seen the light with L'Ingénuité Vintage Bridal.
Influenced by my maternal grandmother, who was a seamstress, and by my mother, I grew up surrounded by flowers, fabrics, lace, dresses and blouses that have made me who I am. And since I was a little girl, I have sought to surround myself with beauty, that simple and authentic beauty that is so hard to find today.
I have always been passionate about dresses from the past, specifically wedding dresses from other eras. That is why, and always thinking about my dream, I have been collecting special pieces for a long time; wedding dresses, party dresses, headdresses and tiaras and even earrings. A whole selection made with delicacy of garments that span from the happy 20s to the 90s, from both Spanish and international brands and that today I begin to share with you.
At L'Ingénuité Vintage Bridal you will find pieces of history, pieces with soul, lived-in creations, but above all, unique garments.
All the products in the shop are vintage pieces, and therefore exclusive models with only one size available. Most of the products have been carefully selected and conditioned to ensure their condition is the best. Most of them are in very good condition, but we cannot forget that they are pieces with many years of life and sometimes they may have some minor defect that will always be indicated in the product description.
Here you will find real treasures, but you will also be able to learn more about the history of fashion. A journey through time, through the quality of fabrics, through authentic creations, past lives, biographies of great fashion masters and a lot of inspiration.
With this project I also want to assert my absolute opposition to mass production of clothing, cheap fabrics, and environmental pollution. I believe in a sustainable product, in which the life of any garment can be extended, and in which pieces of incalculable value can also be made available.
If you are here it is because you are a genuine person, someone who values what lasts, and for that I thank you.
Thank you for being there, thank you for sharing my dream.
Eme.
